BREAKFAST

Our breakfast is an award-winning gastronomic experience, and aims to introduce guests to the gastronomic delights of the Pelion area, as well as to exclusive locally available products. It is based on the Mediterranean diet, seasonality and the use of locally grown ingredients. It is homemade and “farm to table”, since every morning we collect and offer vegetables, fruits and herbs from our organic garden.

THE BEACHES

Amanita is fortunate to be within a short distance from some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece on the Aegean coast. From the trendier to the more remote, they all have secrets waiting to be discovered, including small caves with their own strip of sand, small secluded bays, streams and waterfalls.

ORGANIC GARDEN

The hotel is located in the middle of a 3.5 acre organic garden, consisting of a botanical garden, an orchard and a seasonal vegetable garden. The greek word for that is 'Perivoli' that means an area cultivated for family consumption that is surrounded by a fence. Our guests can roam the garden and relax in the special resting areas.

WORKSHOPS

In ΑΜAΝΙΤΑ, we offer you experiential activities, in a homey atmosphere. Get to know Pelion’s ‘Poor people’s kitchen’ with its simple, natural, yet delicious tastes and its strong link to foraging and the cultivation of aromatic herbs, greens and vegetables in small gardens.

ABOUT PELION

Mt. Pelion, home to the Centaurs and summer residence of the Olympian Gods, is one of the most fabled of Greece's "ancient" mountains. Its location in the middle of the Greek mainland, its sheer beauty, and its association with the sea, make it an ideal destination for those wanting to experience unique natural beauties, ancient legends and some of the best beaches in Greece.

SPECIAL OFFERS

For the vacation (Spring, Summer & Autumn) period 2025 the AMANITA Guesthouse, Tsagarada, Pelion has some special offers.

Filaretos’ book “The Culinary Curiosity of a Hotelier” is about our efforts to reveal and creatively use the culinary culture of our area. It is neither a cookbook nor a folklore book. It is our attempt to present the ‘gastronomic legends’ of Pelion through our own eyes.
